Adam Cleevely is a knitting educator, creator, and retreat host based in Cambridge, UK. Since picking up knitting in early 2022, he has built a warm, welcoming online community through his rapidly growing Instagram account, CleevelyKnits, where he blends entertaining sketches, thoughtful advocacy for makers, and clear, confidence-building tutorials. Adam’s humour, creativity, and down-to-earth teaching style make him a favourite among knitters looking to learn, laugh, and feel inspired.
Alongside his online work, Adam co-hosts the Yarn Library Podcast and is passionate about creating spaces—both digital and in-person—where makers can connect deeply with craft and with one another. At Maker Getaway retreats, he brings a mix of expert guidance, playful energy, and genuine care to every group, helping knitters of all levels feel supported, encouraged, and part of something special.
